RSL Queensland’s Districts and Sub Branches are its foundation. Across the state, our network of volunteers work tirelessly to support veterans and their families.
Our 10 Districts and around 230 Sub Branches are at the core of what RSL Queensland does every day.
Largely run by volunteers, RSL Sub Branches play a key role in connecting and supporting the veteran and wider communities. As well as leading local commemoration activities, they are often the first point of contact for veterans and their families seeking support or social connection.
Meanwhile, each District provides administrative support to the Sub Branches and Chapters within that District, enabling care, commemoration and camaraderie to reach veteran and Defence communities all over Queensland.
Wherever veterans and their families are in Queensland, they’re never far from help or community.
RSL Districts provide important support to the Sub Branches and Chapters within that District.
There are around 230 RSL Sub Branches throughout Queensland, each serving to support and strengthen the veteran community.
