Good corporate governance helps RSL Queensland deliver its strategic objectives and engenders the confidence of our members, regulators and the broader community.
To support transparent and sound decision-making, RSL Queensland has adopted a Good Governance Guide that incorporates a range of Board policies and procedures. These can be downloaded below.
RSL Queensland comprises 10 Districts and around 230 Sub Branches across the state. An elected District President oversees each District, and each Sub Branch has its own governing board, membership base, and volunteer network.
RSL Queensland, its Districts and Sub Branches are not related companies or related entities for the purpose of the Corporation Act 2001 (Cth). They are all separate legal entities with a common purpose: delivering the objects of the RSL.
The Districts and Sub Branches are supported by RSL Queensland in the provision of high-level governance and support services, with Districts providing administrative support to their network of Sub Branches, and Sub Branches providing grassroots welfare and wellbeing services.
